Original Item: Only One Available. The "Bustina" field cap was originally introduced in 1933 and was worn by both Army and Fascist militia personnel, with minor variations.
This green gaberdine wool field cap features fold down side panels are held to the crown of the cap by a corresponding hidden snap. The front visor is in the upright position. To the front is a very fine embroidered gold bullion on green Medical Officer Infantry cap insignia. Also, on the left side is metal gold star on green wool background with gold ribbon border with rank badge of one star denoting the rank of Major. The interior is fully lined in a red rayon/silk with maker marking stamp on the leather sweatband.
